I am so excited to share with you that I have just self-published the poems I have written during the pandemic and my book is now available to buy online - on Freedom Day of all days! It was my aim to write poems and get them published before the end of lockdown and I have just scraped in - phew! Nothing like a personal deadline.
Here is a sneak peak of the contents page, in case you are interested and below I have added one of the poems in the book:

Corona Day
Throat so sore
Woken up from
The day before
Crazy dreams again
A headache throbs
Sunken eyed pain
Get out of bed
Drink black coffee
Dream of eating
Easter’s lamb roast
But instead remember
Eat buttered toast
Shower warms me
Clean bathroom now
Dress in dungarees
Wash the dishes
Sweep the floors
Listen to news
As do chores
Laundry load on
Hang out more
My day’s about
Coffee break time
Fruit and nuts
Washing on line
Washing my hands
Washing more pans
Reading my book
Eating some lunch
Having a look
Dogs playing ball
Soaking up sun
Gardening; no walk
Two metres away
The family talk
Preparing a meal
Sit down; eat
Sacred time meet
Watch a film
Legs of lead
Lead to bed
Rinse and repeat
